Thales is a French multinational company that designs and builds electrical systems and provides services for the aerospace, defence, transportation and security markets. It is partially state-owned by the French government, employs 64,000 people and has operations in more than 50 countries.
Thales’s communication challenges were three-fold: increasing its visibility, helping others to understand its role, and promoting its achievements. The organisation had the added consideration of language and reach.
Caspian came up with the idea of a publication to shine a light on pioneering technologies that Thales continually develops. Innovations informs and enlightens through content that’s well-explained and easy to read.
Our role involves working with specialist technologists and third party commentators to design, edit and produce the publication, which is translated into French and distributed to contacts around the world.
“Innovations helps us explain where we fit into the bigger picture, not only to customers but to everybody else with an interest in our work. It turns the spotlight on what we do, day after day, to make the world a safer place and people’s lives a little better.”
Michel Gravrand, Media Publishing Manager, Corporate Communications
