The Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (Chartered IIA) is the professional association for internal auditors in the UK and Ireland. Its role is to support and develop members throughout their careers and to promote the profession.

Brief

The Chartered IIA wanted to breathe new life into their hard copy newsletter and increase readership among the internal audit professionals it represents. It was essential for the content created to be informative and to enhance the value of the institute to its members.

Solution

Before embarking on the project, we familiarised ourselves with the Chartered IIA’s audience and gained a better understanding of their needs. We then looked at how we could appeal to different interests and provide useful material for internal auditors in their day-to-day roles.

The result was Audit & Risk, a multi-channel platform that includes a bi-monthly magazine, a microsite and annual sponsored awards – the only dedicated awards for the profession. Audit & Risk is a key member benefit and makes a measurable contribution to retention.
