As a global fund administrator, JTC specialises in areas such as hedge funds and real estate, but wanted to make a splash into private equity. Their aim was to ‘shake up’ (or revolutionise) the industry, make their name known and build quality contacts.
Our goal was to help JTC make a real impact on private equity professionals. So, rather than hosting a seminar, we persuaded our client to let us put on a launch cocktail party. The idea was to create warm and engaged leads that JTC could follow up on.
The theme was aptly called ‘Shaking up private equity’, as this is exactly what our client wanted to do, and the evening was designed and promoted around it. Caspian’s events expertise also meant we could choose the perfect Mayfair venue for our audience, and develop content to suit.
Our invited speakers, some of the biggest names in the sector, gave snapshots of how they’d shake up the private equity world. Our cocktails were served shaken not stirred. And our surprise entertainment got 150 guests ‘all shook up’ (think Elvis Presley).
JTC not only got its leads, it made a number of solid contacts too.
