The Future 50 is all about disruptive influences, so every year we look for ground-breaking, gutsy and growing businesses. And every year we have hundreds of contenders.

Agreeing who makes the list is a decision we like to leave to the experts. These experts are a panel of former Future 50 finalists, each with their own success story.


Support for the event comes from far and wide, not just within the SME business community but well beyond it. Brands such as Redbull and Wonga’s commercial lending arm (Everline) have been highly engaged past sponsors.

The digital reach of the Future 50 stories is also vast. It captures an international audience and lasts way beyond the event itself.

Last year’s Twitter Wall alone generated 2.2 million impressions and trended above a certain BBC baking competition.
